‘Impressive’, ‘Oustanding’ – some fans praise Wolves forward after 2-0 victory

|

Wolverhampton Wanderers enjoyed a 2-0 win over West Ham United on Wednesday evening and Adama Traore was one of many players to come away with praise from supporters on social media. The 23-year-old didn’t deliver a vintage performance, but he was an attacking threat before his substitution and played his part in the eventual outcome.

Traore created chances for his teammates and gave Aaron Cresswell a torrid time at left-back, frequently taking him on at Molineux. The wide-man contributed defensively too and helped turn over possession on a number of occasions. Fans were pleased with his overall contribution, even if he wasn’t at his best.

Against West Ham, Traore played for 88 minutes, made 66 touches, created two chances, made three interceptions, completed 88.9% of his 27 passes, whipped in nine crosses, made seven successful dribbles, drew two fouls and made two tackles.

The 23-year-old has made 24 appearances in all competitions, scoring and creating nine goals. Traore has been outstanding for Wolves this season and will be hoping to continue his impressive run of form against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
