Wolves might have finally completed the signing of Stephen Hunt from Hull, but we’ll have to wait a few more months to see him play.

Hunt completed the £3million move from Hull over the weekend, signing a three-year contract.

But his foot injury is expected to keep the Irish winger on the sidelines until October.

“I think if it`s late October I might hang my boots up and be retired by then!” Hunt said to the Express & Star.

Hunt added: “I know that`s the current timespan and I`ll be following the instructions of the physios but hopefully it might be a little bit sooner than that.

“But it`s important that it`s all done right and so when I come back it`s ready and fine for the rest of the season.”

Vital Wolves Comment: It’s been a long wait to finally get him here, lets not rush him back and lose him for even longer!
