As Ståle Solbakken continues to assemble a Wolves squad in his vision, Stephen Hunt has become the latest player to become surplus to requirements.

As we suggested a few days ago Stephen Hunt is receiving interest from Premier League side Fulham and could be set to be the next one out of the door along with Kevin Doyle and Stephen Ward who have been linked with Aston Villa and Everton over the past few days.

In contrast to the transfer shenanigans regarding Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis which saw Wolves wring Sunderland and West Ham for every penny that they had for the pair, it would seem that there are certain players around the squad that Solbakken isn’t bothered about putting much of a fight for and Hunt looks like being one of those players.

“I had an open discussion with Stephen and said we`ll see what happens,” said Solbakken to the Shropshire Star.

He continued: “If he wants to stay and fight for his place, that`s fine, but if we get an offer in that`s acceptable, he will leave.”

Vital Wolves Comment: So what kind of offer would be acceptable to you?
