On Tuesday evening Wolverhampton Wanderers again put Manchester United to the sword as we made it back to back victories over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Having taken FA Cup bragging rights, the midweek clash was a Premier League three pointer and goals from Diogo Jota and a Chris Smalling own goal, gave us the points as we kept our own great season going.
With head coach Nuno Espirito Santo making a few tweaks to the lineup, one man who came in for a start for the first time in a month was 19-year-old talent Ruben Vinagre as he made his seventh top flight appearance and 17th of the season overall.
Despite it being a tricky game where we needed to be organised and resolute, plenty of Wolves fans were utterly delighted with the young man’s efforts on the night and they were quick to praise him on social media following the fulltime whistle.
Said at start of season he will be a world class left winger in next two years

Scared at the thought of Vinagre in 3/5 years time. My days he’s gonna be incredible ???? #wwfc

Vinagre. Underrated as hell. My guy bodied Fred like that

Neves enjoyed himself tonight & Moutinho his usual tidy best.
Defence dealt with Lukaka manfully – Boly pick of the back 3.
What a special talent Vinagre is. Scared the living daylights out of the United defence. #wwfc
