21-year-old highly rated Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy graduate Connor Ronan signed a new contract extension at the Molineux on Monday.

The Republic of Ireland youth midfielder already has four senior appearances to his name at Wolves, with nine substitute showings for our first team and his game experience has been bolstered by EFL Trophy action with the Under 23 group, as well as half season loans out with Portsmouth and Walsall in former years.

In 2018/19 he’s spent the second half of the campaign out with Slovakian top tier side Dunajska Streda and has become a key member of their side as they looked to replicate our own success this season, and secure Europa League qualification ahead of next season. A challenge they met and Ronan played his part in that, scoring his first goal in a vital 1-0 win over MSK Zilina last month.

His new contract runs until the summer of 2021.
