If there were any young Wolves fans out there needing a tip from one of their idols, a jubillant Michael Kightley offered them as good a pointer as they’ll ever get on how to get it right on matchday.

Practice.

Speaking after securing yet another maximum haul for his side, he told their official site :

‘I work a lot with Taff in training at trying to take a touch, cut inside and then score with my left foot but the lads have been giving me stick saying ‘yeah, looks great but when are you going to do it in a match?’

‘Thankfully I did it today and so my first thought was to go and celebrate with Taff.”

The celebrations his individual piece of magic provoked both on and off the pitch were a sign of just how much the victory against Leeds meant to both players and fans alike.

Wolves travel to 19th placed Luton on Saturday in search of their fifth win on the bounce.
