After he got caught up in a race row on Twitter Leigh Griffiths has had his loan with Hibernian extended until the end of the season.
Griffiths is potentially facing a police investigation after he allegedly made a racist comment on social media site Twitter.
The 22-year-old who has since apologised, deleted the remark and protected his account, got into an argument with with another twitter user which resulted in Griffiths telling @Zak_Iqbal to: ‘f*** off back to your own country ya clown’.
Wolves were quick to condemn the comments and said that he would face disciplinary procedures from both Hibernian and the Scottish Football Association.
The statement also stated that it was likely that he would remain on loan with the Scottish side for the rest of the season and that has now officially been confirmed by Wolves Official Website.
He had returned to Molineux last week for training so that new manager Dean Saunders could take a look at him, but he will now see out the season north of the border.
