Striker Leo Bonatini turned out to be a somewhat surprise arrival at Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.
Following his loan deal from Al-Hilal in the season of 2017/18, he more than played his part in helping us to lift the Championship trophy as he found the net 12 times in 43 league matches, although the end of the spell wasn’t as successful as he didn’t find the net in the second half of the campaign.
With us taking so long to enact the buy clause we had on his loan spell, and seeing him linked with a number of other second-tier sides as we prepared for life back in the Premier League, it did seem we had moved on from him but he is now back with us and the 24-year-old has certainly been given a warm welcome as plenty expect him to really kick on now given his experiences in the English game last term.
Having signed back on at the Molineux on a four-year deal for a reported fee of around £3.6million, he has now conducted a video interview about his return and fans are pleased with what they heard from him and the steps he’s going to in order to really settle with us this time around.
Could well be!. Important to have family around and it may do him the world of good

Good luck to Leo – if we can get the player that he was first half of the season he's a steal! I'm impressed he's doing everything he possible can (parents coming to live halfway round the word) to give himself the best chance – that shouldn't be underestimated

Top bloke. We often forget footballers are like the rest us. Everyone needs family and friends around them. Up the Wolves #wwfc

Think it will do Leo good to have his family over here with him, can’t be easy to be so far away from home. Welcome back Leo

I genuinely believe Leo's game is better suited to the premier league rather than the championship, can't wait for the season to get up and running ????????????????
