Will Wolverhampton Wanderers sell James Henry to Charlton Athletic?

Reports that suggested that the 26-year-old didn’t feature in Saturday’s friendly win over Burton Albion due to a bid from Charlton were incorrect.

It was reported that Charlton had bid £500,000 for the winger, but that has been denied by Wolves Head Coach Kenny Jackett, but the Wolves boss has said that an enquiry has been made.

“There isn`t a move imminent although Charlton have made an inquiry, although no more than that,” Jackett confirmed to the Express & Star.

He continued: ‘For James he`s inside the last year of his contract and we`ll see over the coming weeks how he figures for Wolves and exactly where he fits it.

Henry made the move to Molinuex initially on loan in October 2013, he has made 74 appearances, including 40 last season.
