Wolverhampton Wanderers drew a line under our recent Premier League defeats as we took a very creditable point from Arsenal on Sunday.
With three defeats on the spin, and arguably we had warranted slightly more than we took across those games in total, heading into the November international break having picked up a point again will be a boost to everyone.
Although we didn’t take all three points as Henrikh Mkhitaryan hit back late on to cancel out Ivan Cavaleiro’s 13th minute lead, there were huge positives to take again from the tie and we more than showed we could compete.
With a number of players taking the praise from the day, defender Ryan Bennett put in a strong performance at the back and fans on social media were left raving about him at the full-time whistle.
Another great team performance, if only those chances went in (again) . I thought Costa was MOTM closely followed by Bennett #WWFC

Great to see that the people suggesting Ryan Bennett should be dropped have gone quiet.
He was immense today, as was everyone else.
Great team performance #wwfc— Matt (@mdw142850) November 11, 2018
Only got ourselves to blame for not winning that. Great point, but should have been three. Time to step away from the small time mentality, finishing is costing us. Bennett back to form and Jonny was also superb. Costa a nuisance all game. #wwfc

Particular shoutout to one Ryan Bennett. He certainly made me eat my words!
Superb defending/positioning and much better on the ball.
Still not convinced he's the long term solution at RCB but you cannot fault his performance today. #wwfc

Everyone waiting for Bennett to get ousted from the team. Glad Nuno dont listen to all the negativity and opinions wanting Dendoncker to start just because Ryan isnt a 'name'. He was superb again today. Wouldnt swap Nuno for ANYONE. What he has done for our club is superb #WWFC

Superb. For a bit of luck at the end we would've been taking all 3 points. Bennett back to his best. Magnificent team performance. On to the next one. #WWFC

I’m sure some are disappointed we couldn’t take the win but defensively we were solid again and Nuno Espirito Santo was right in speaking of his pride immediately post-game.
