I’m sure everyone is painfully aware that Wolverhampton Wanderers lost their first game at the Molineux last Saturday, and our second of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign as we hosted Watford in Premier League action following the October international break.
It was a poor performance from the lads and there’s not really any way of hiding it, but despite the 2-0 scoreline, it was two minutes of madness that saw the visitors take victory and otherwise the game was pretty balanced really when it came to chances.
With some justified criticism and disappointment, along with a bit of over-egging in my humble, left wing-back Ruben Vinagre took to social media following the game to give his message to the fans after being introduced as a substitute after 45 minutes when he replaced Jonny Castro.
An unfortunate result but we’ll keep our head up because the path is forward. Thank you for the all the support!
Wolves ay we 🧡🐺

The 19-year-old Portuguese Under 21 international will have better days himself in the future, but his message went over extremely well with these fans who praised his effort on the day.
Great performance from you.

With natural disappointment following the loss, it’s good to see fans not letting their emotions cloud thoughts when it comes to a youngster still learning his trade.
