It’s looking likely that Wolverhampton Wanderers will be without Jordan Graham for around a year after he injured his knee.

During a dazzling 12 appearances, Graham has taken the Championship by storm with 8 assists and 1 goal.

But he is now unlikely to make another appearance until 2017 after he tore his cruciate ligament.

“It was one of those almost freakish situations where he was caught slightly off balance and his knee went into a hyper-extended position and that is what did the damage.

“He is going to see a consultant towards the end of this week and will then have surgery in the coming weeks.’ Head of medical at Wolves, Phil Hayward told the Express & Star.

He continued: “He is keen to get the operation done and get on the road to recovery and back to doing as well as he has been before sustaining the injury.

“It is probably too early to be talking about exact timescales because that will depend on the outcome of the surgery.

“But with cruciate ligament injuries we know it is a lengthy process and it will probably be well into next season before he is back available.”
