Finally some good news for young striker Sam Vokes.

The 20-year-old striker currently on loan at Bristol City from Molineux until the new year, is set to return to training later this week, after recovering from a torn hamstring.

Vokes suffered the injury just 13 minutes into his debut for Bristol City.

‘Sam has been training with Wolves for a few weeks now but he’s not played any football,’ Bristol City manager Keith Millen told bcfc.co.uk.

He continued: ‘We’ll have to assess his levels of fitness when he comes back to us on Thursday.

‘Whilst he won’t come back into the first-team fold immediately, it’s great to have him back and bolstering our attacking line.’

Vital Wolves Comment: Great news for Vokes, lets hope he returns to action sooner rather than later and can continue his development.
