Ahead of the passing of the loan deadline window at the end of August, Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed that centre-half and club captain Danny Batth had made the switch out to Championship side Middlesbrough as they go for another promotion attempt in the season of 2018/19.
Relishing the new challenge with @Boro been an enjoyable few days! Plenty of work to be done ????⚪️ #utb https://t.co/66y3Z0RkRM

The 27-year-old was yet to feature for head coach Nuno Espirito Santo following our return to the top-flight but he more than played his part in helping us to promotion and the Championship title with 21 appearances last season.
Having spent a few days settling in, Batth has taken to social media for the first time since his season-long deal to the Riverside Stadium was announced and although the tweet concerned Middlesbrough, that didn’t stop Wolves fans from piping up and wishing him all the best for the coming year.
Good luck skip!

He’ll be hoping to make his debut when the September international break comes to an end and fans are clearly hoping he hits the ground running for them.
