With Jez Moxey stating previously that Wolves wouldn`t be ‘forced` into selling any of their star players I thought I`d have a punt on who`s likely to be leaving Molineux this summer.

Keep in mind none of us really know the politics and finances of what`s going on inside of Molineux at the moment but let us know whether you agree or disagree in the comments below.

Roger Johnson

We all know the story of Roger Johnson.

I`m struggling to remember a more disliked player at the club for quite some time, his name instantly met with jeers and boo`s as it was read out over the tanoy on Sunday suggest Wolves` fans are ready to wipe their hands of the 28-year-old as soon as possible.

Who though would realistically come in for Johnson? His reputation is in tatters on and off the pitch, he has now starred in two separate relegations from the Premier League and his wage demands would surely be too high for the likes of Reading or Southampton.

It was interesting watching Sundays game back on Sky and hearing Niall Quinn speak about how as chairman at Sunderland every player signing a contract had to agree to a 40% wage cut if the club were relegated. Hopefully Wolves have something similar in place, bringing the centre backs reported £25,000 a week down to a more sustainable level, albeit the player is still under contract until July 2015.

Perhaps the best thing for Johnson and the wolves fans to do is to start a fresh with a clean slate come August. We have seen through another Wolves centre back, Jody Craddock, that players shouldn`t always be judged on their first season at a club.

Johnson can`t have become a bad

layer overnight and excelled at Championship level with Cardiff, winning their player of the season award two seasons in a row.
