Emmanuel Frimpong’s season is over after the Arsenal midfielder suffered a anterior cruciate ligament injury against QPR.

The 20-year-old who was supposed to be on loan at Molinuex for the remainder of the season will now see a specialist before having an operation on the injury.

He is expected to be out for anything up to 9 months.

‘Bad News is that I’m out for 6-9months with my Knee.’ he wrote on Twitter before adding: ‘I wanna thank all the wolves fans for their support since I’ve been here and really Hope wolves stay up this season’
