Whilst the squad was largely our Under 23 setup, a number of more senior faces were on show as they got minutes under their belts as we continue our preparations for the coming 2018/19 Premier League campaign and it was a decent run out by all accounts.
Ethan Ebanks-Landell opened the scoring with Wolves’ second own goal of the summer but Michal Zyro curled in a freekick just before the half-hour mark. Port Vale did restore their advantage as Jack Ruddy dwelled on the ball for too long and was suitably punished, but Paul Gladon sent us into the break on level terms and that was where the scoring ended on the day.

Goal and Paul Gladon. Not words you often find in the same sentence.
