On Saturday Wolverhampton Wanderers completed their second pre-season friendly of the summer as we faced Swiss Champions BSC Young Boys at the Stadion Neufeld.

Ivan Cavaliero, Helder Costa and Leo Bonatini opened their account this summer and with Rafa Mir scoring one minute from the end of the game, we secured a 4-0 victory and the Uhrencup in the process.

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo again went with a strong started XI for the game with youngster Ryan Giles the only inclusion and as the scoreline implies, it was a pretty comfortable victory all in as our preparations continue for the coming Premier League campaign in 2018/19 as we return to the top-flight.

Wolves:

John Ruddy (Will Norris 45 (Andreas Sondergaard 82)), Ryan Bennett, Conor Coady, Willy Boly (Kortney Hause 65), Matt Doherty (Danny Batth 65), Morgan Gibbs-White (Pedro Goncalves 65), Ruben Neves (Elliot Watt 65), Ryan Giles (Cameron John 65), Helder Costa (Rafa Mir 65), Leo Bonatini (Benny Ashley-Seal 65), Ivan Cavaleiro (Bright Enobakhare 45).

Wolves goals – Cavaleiro (26), Costa (30), Bonatini (54), Mir (89).
Attendance: 3,467.

The match, of course, brings an end to our stay out in Switzerland and our eight-day training camp and I’m sure Santo is delighted with the work we’ve got done so far.
