Lots of Wolves fans have responded on Twitter to the news that Ruben Neves has won the goal of the decade award.
The official account @Wolves tweeted about Neves picking up the award, and they even gave a disclaimer asking fans to try and act surprised about the result.
Neves’ screamer versus Derby County in their Championship winning season was the overwhelming winner, and it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise considering what an incredible effort it was.
Is a top four finish a realistic target?
Ask again in April
Unsurprisingly, the Wolves fans didn’t need much of a second invite to watch it again. There was a pretty varied response: some joked pretending to be shocked by the result, others simply praised the screamer and one couldn’t help but mention VAR.
Here are some of the replies below…
Oh go on then, I’ll watch it a few more times…

Wolves have come along way since that screamer from Neves – though he certainly remains.
Even with the club tearing up the Championship that season, there can’t have been many that would have predicted what has happened since.
After 20 league games this season, the club are just five points off the Champions League spot and they have a trip to Barcelona to look forward to as they face Espanyol in the final 32 of the Europa League – fans must truly be pinching themselves after that decade.
