Plenty of Wolves fans on Twitter have responded to a tweet from a respected journalist who says he has not heard about Patrick Cutrone leaving.
With the player struggling for first-team football this season, the rumour mill has begun to turn with strong suggestions that he could be going back to Italy with a move to Fiorentina.
Joe Edwards from the Express and Star tweeted about his predictions for the club’s starting XI when they face Manchester United in the cup, and within the tweet mentioned how he had not heard that he is off, though still subsequently suggested he would be benched.
Should Nuno give Raul Jimenez a rest?
Yes
No
There was a pretty mixed response from Wolves fans.
As you can tell from the replies below, they are clearly very fond of the 21-year-old, with many suggesting that he deserves more game time. Others can sympathise with the Italian and have said that if they aren’t going to play him, then they should think about letting him leave.
Here are some of the replies below…
If I were him (and assuming he’s no longer ill) I’d be looking to get away if I didn’t get some game time Saturday. Don’t want us to run Raul into the ground like we did with Bonatini either.

I do find this situation strange he must be unsettled or Nuno wants someone else

Everyone was predicting he would play more during the 4 previous games. Nuno never liked him that much and he has probably decided to go back to Italy and try to resurrect his national team aspirations for the summer tourney.
I hope he does and becomes a star of the tourney #wwfc— Joseph (@Bloseph) January 2, 2020
I think he could be given the chance to run at the Utd defence…. If AT and Neto on either side of him he will have support up front and be given the chance to score…

At the very least, let him go back to Italy for the second half of the season so he can try to get onto the Italian team. Maybe that would be a compromise. #wwfc

Neto has started the last 2 so I expect Cutrone to get a start with Jota and Traore either side. Agree on the rest just maybe Doherty out

Minutes have been pretty hard to come by since Cutrone joined Molineux. Despite being somewhat of a coup, the Italian international has just managed 860 minutes of first-team football since joining the club over a number of performances.
In his short amount of game time he has shown glimpses of quality. He has three goals and four assists, which isn’t a bad return considering the number of minutes he’s played.
