Wolverhampton Wanderers have now been credited with an interest in Croatian international defender Domagoj Vida.
Turkish outlet Sabah have loosely linked us with having interest in the player and have suggested we have joined the chase for the 29-year-old and submitted a £16million offer.
Vida has been linked with numerous Premier League sides including Leicester City, Liverpool and West Ham so far this summer but they speculate our offer is the highest on the table so far and it could be enough for Besiktas to deal on the man they only signed in January, especially as he’s struggled to settle at the club.
His performances at the World Cup for his country have certainly boosted his profile and he found the net to score Croatia’s second goal in their Quarter Final tie against Russia as they made their way to the final.
With the news gaining traction online, plenty of Wolves fans are hoping it comes true now.
Vida would been an outstanding signing but can't see it. Arsenal and Liverpool also chasing #wwfc

We’ve only made 4 new ones – and one of those is a keeper. The rest are shored up deals after season long loans for last season’s key players. All 4 have had a full pre-season and are looking mint, beating Villareal 2-1 yesterday. We’ll be fine.

Vida would be a fantastic signing. Besiktas want to sell but Arsenal are also interested apparently. Let's hope he chooses us instead!

Agreed, he would be an awesome signing for our back 3. What's the legitimacy of the rumour? Have we got a chance as heard some of the big. It's are in for him
