The build up to tomorrow is starting, and Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle has more FA Cup memories than most.

‘The third round of the FA Cup is a special day, it always has been,’ he told Wolves World.

‘I have been lucky enough to win it twice and to come runner up twice and so, personally, I have a fabulous feeling about this competition. The magic is still there, you’ve only got to look at Burton playing Manchester United to see that.?

‘But, we have been drawn against somebody that we played last week, and we are looking forward to the game. We are at home, and that is all you can ask for in a Cup draw.?

‘If anything, Plymouth were pleased with a draw last weekend and I was pleased with our shape. On another day we’ll get the just rewards for a performance like we put in, but this is a very different game, it’s a Cup game.’

Wolves fans will be hoping the team has put the hangover of a poor display against Coventry behind them, or face being only the second side in over a decade to loset to The Pilgrims in an FA Cup 3rd round tie
