Wolves have confirmed another two players have signed contract extensions as Bright Enobakhare and Jon Flatt have joined Dave Edwards in committing their futures to the club. Edwards signed his deal on Monday.

18-year-old Nigerian-born striker Enobakhare has managed 10 first team appearances since breaking into the Wolves first team at the start of the 2015-16 season, his new contract will take him through until the summer of 2019.

Flatt hasn’t made his debut for Wolves yet but the keeper did have a loan spell with Cheltenham last season, where the 22-year-old made 10 appearances when helping them to the non-league title – he’s signed an 18-month contract that comes with the option of a further year.

Having followed up Edwards’ new two-and-a-half-year deal by securing the futures of these two academy graduates Paul Lambert spoke of his delight. He told the Official Website.

‘I am really pleased that Bright and Jon have both signed new contracts. As I have said before I think Bright is a big talent. He has a real chance here if he keeps his feet on the ground and keeps working hard and doing what he is doing.

‘Jon is a good goalkeeper and although he is going to have to go some to dislodge the lads here at the moment, he also has big potential. We have got some very good young players here – this current group is really strong and these two lads are among that.’
