Leander Dendocker was praised by supporters for his impressive performance in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ 2-0 win over West Ham United, and Romain Saiss was another defender hailed on social media after shining on his return to the starting eleven.
The 29-year-old recently served a one-match ban for five yellow cards which forced him to miss Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Sheffield United. Max Kilman was brought in at centre-back, but the 22-year-old was benched for Saiss on Wednesday evening.
Agree mate- Saiss, Jonny & Patricio the 3 stand outs for me too. Excellent

I have to say Saiss was class tonight.

Surprised about the app results for MOTM but can understand they all had good performances tonight
See concerns about Jota – better in front 2, he’ll be back no doubt#Wolves #wwfc

Rui has been fantastic all season and has that air of tranquility around him that is helping our 'makeshift' defence look pretty solid. Coady great again and Saiss fast becoming an unsung hero at the back #wwfc

Against West Ham, the Morrocan international played for 90 minutes, made 65 touches, had two shots, made three aerial duels, created two chances, completed 78.9% of his 52 passes, made one tackle, drew two fouls and made seven clearances.
Alongside Conor Coady and Dendoncker, Saiss helped Wolves keep their first clean sheet since October. Wednesday’s win saw Nuno Espirito Santo’s men extended their unbeaten run to 10 games and move up to fifth in the Premier League table.
With Wolves in such fine form, it’s hard to see Nuno making changes to his backline when they travel to Brighton on Sunday. The Midlands outfit were suffering an injury crisis in defence, but now Nuno has Coady, Dendoncker, Saiss, Kilman and the returning Ryan Bennett at his disposal.
