Mexican international Raul Jimenez arrived at the Molineux over the summer on a season-long loan spell from Benfica.

The 27-year-old made an immediate impression on the Wolves’ faithful as he scored on his Premier League debut as we faced Everton on home soil and picked up a point from a 2-2 draw. An additional goal has followed in the match against Burnley, but his goal return only tells part of the story.

It must be said though, two Premier League goals in eight matches given everyone is adjusting to the top-flight and he’s adjusting to a new team and country definitely isn’t too shabby!

His overall work rate at the top of the pitch has certainly won him friends in the fanbase and he’s contributed three assists in those games as well, so when the club sent out the following Tweet on social media, being directly involved in 56% of our goals so far, and undoubtedly indirectly playing his part in others, is a worthy record at this stage of his Wolves career.

Long may it continue.
