25-year-old Sylvan Ebanks-Blake came off at half-time against Everton with a hamstring injury.

The striker who has fired home seven goals this season had a scan on Monday, but he believes he shouldn’t miss any action.

“Hopefully, I`ll be fit for the Fulham game – that`s what I`m working towards. Ebanks-Blake told the Express & Star.

He added: “As we haven`t got a game on Saturday, there`s no need to rush things as regards full training.

“The free weekend is something of a blessing for me, because it`s given me that extra bit of time to recover.”

Vital Wolves Comment: This could be just the bit of luck we needed, losing Kevin Doyle and SEB probably would have written our final chapter in the Premier League.
