John Ruddy has an uncertain future at Wolverhampton Wanderers after struggling for playing time in the last two seasons. The 33-year-old was a regular upon his arrival from Norwich City in 2017 but fell down the pecking order after Rui Patricio joined.
Ruddy has made just 15 appearances in all competitions since May 2018, only one which has come in the Premier League. The England international is now Wolves’ backup goalkeeper under Nuno Espirito Santo and may be considering his options as his deal expires in July.
It would be a surprise for Wolves to let him go as he’s a more than able goalkeeper, but Ruddy may not want to sit on the bench for another season. Talking Wolves asked fans on Twitter to name which out-of-contract players should be retained for next season and the majority want to keep Ruddy regardless.

Kilman. Ruddy is great for us. I am a not sure are what’s best for Ruddy. He is too good of a keeper to be sitting on the bench.

Max kilman 100%, I don't think Ruddy will want to be on the bench another season, Graham had a chance at the right club not sure about Bright, he's had the chances. SD I'd let go. He'll find a L1 club.

The 33-year-old has made 60 appearances in all competitions since joining Wolves, conceding 49 goals and keeping an impressive 31 clean sheets. Ruddy would be a useful goalkeeper for a lot of clubs, so he may want to entertain offers over the summer.
