Milton Keynes Dons have signed Plymouths 29 year old striker Scott Taylor for a fee of £100,000 sparking speculation that leading goalscorer Izale Mcleod may be about to leave the club.

Despite statements from Wolves that the Mcleod deal is dead, and they have moved on to other targets, its seems in the media’s eyes at least, the two will always be inextricably linked.

Mcleod was an August target for Glenn Hoddle, and has pursued him ever since. But up until recently the Dons have always resolutley rebuffed all offers for the striker.

In an odd quirk of circumstance when Milton Keyenes finally accepted a Wolves bid, the club stated it was no longer on the table which was not well recieved by The Dons Chairman.

With discussions already taking more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, it remains to be seen if the Mcleod
transfer really is dead in the water.

With Wolves’ name seemingly linked with every striker on the market, rumours will continue to revolve until either Mcleod, or February comes to Wolverhampton
