Do You Know Where Hell Is…..?

I was leaving this as a response to the thread but I got a bit carried away and was pleased with the break down so I post it as an article. I am not sure how many more I will write because as someone said on the stat thread, there is no point in Banksy writing a match report because the suffering has already proven enough for one day. Banksy- write away my friend. Your words I wisdom I look forward to. You will not enjoy writing it and we shall not enjoy reading it but, as we lose another game, why break a trend and not write a report!

Breakdown.



Mick should have gone at the final whistle last season. Who knows what the budget was. Yes, Mick did say he was happy with what he had which summed him up. How come anyone with sense knows he should have gone at the end of the season, christmas at the very latest but the bloke who owns it and has invested money, plus the chief whip could not see it going down the pipe.

It has proven a collective fuck up. He should have gone. They kept him. They should have spent bigger, they did not. They should have realized their mistake and sacked him. They did not, they left it until the players had already lost it- they fucked up trying to tempt any single manager to take it.

It does not take a scientist to work it out after what they did to Bruce the word went out to the other managers- and they responded dutifully. I did not want Bruce but if his version of events is true, and why would he make it up- he is saying he wanted it, thought he had it and is disapointed he did not get it, then they fucked him over.

Reminds me of when West Ham were going to appoint O Neill and they fucked that up by screwing over Roeder if I remember. Whoever was in charge they were fucking over and Martin turned his back on the job based on their behavior. Bruce, fan of his or not, he is hugely respected obviously among players, managers so if he dropped the word out to some mates, as you would, that ‘company’ behaves in this or that manner then we have seen a similar scenario and it is a more than reasonable explanation as to why no one would take up the offer to manage a Premiership Club with a good enough squad on paper to stay up, and solvent.

Having watched Connor shyly chuckling at the interviewers nod to next weeks task it just reinforces my opinion that we may as well have given it to Noddy. The bloke has been part of the fabric for how many years now? He was part and parcel of the team falling apart and nothing has changed. We still have the same players playing the same formation with a complete lack of ideas.

Today we had a throw in and we looked collectively confused by the matter at hand. What the fuck are the learning on the training ground if they can’t even take a throw in. I’m telling you, I love this club and I am Wolves until I die, but right now I have slipped quickly from accepting we would lose today, watching it happen and accepting relegation to a fairly blank stare wondering what the fuck they are going to do next season.

The only thing we have to cling on to is that we will not go bankrupt. Far from it. Parachute payments aside we will source upwards of thirty million from the 7 or 8 that will leave. We will not spend thirty million to restore Premiership status. We have Karl Henry and some random bloke from Iceland to pull the midfield strings next season. Aside from that I could not second guess the rest based on the reality the likes of Adam Hammill would be least likely to want to return to a sunken ship when there are prosperous pastures elsewhere.

Everyone I know was clambering for three at the back. It will never happen. The assertion that he should drop the lot and play the kids for the rest of the season is the best thing written in response to our latest shambolic endeavor.

We may agree on this that or the other, sometimes or all the time but we are all Wolves fans and our relaxed attitudes to our pending relegation is the shocking predicament we rightfully predicted at the end of last season unless the right decision was made.

The writing was on the wall the last time we played Blackburn. Today they have rubber stamped our season.
