Wolverhampton Wanderers midfield Connor Ronan is already impressing his new fans at the Banks’s Stadium.
The 20-year-old midfielder made a late transfer deadline switch out to League One side Walsall and he kicked off his loan spell with them by making his debut in last night’s EFL Trophy clash against Burton Albion.
With the Republic of Ireland Under 21 international impressing many on his full Wolves debut back in January 2917 in the game against Sheffield Wednesday, then manager Paul Lambert gushed about his performance and he repeated that trick by making an incredibly lively start to his Saddlers career.
Connor Ronan on @WFCOfficial debut has been the standout player on the pitch tonight – superb distribution, he’s on a different level at times #wwfc #saddlers pic.twitter.com/KuAYrCmXRT

This is his second loan spell away from the Molineux following a 17 game spell out with Portsmouth in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign, so having hit the ground running and already begun winning the Walsall fan base over hopefully it’ll be a sign of things to come from the youngster as he continues his development with them this season.
