Lots of Wolves fans have responded on Twitter to reports that Olympiakos forward Daniel Podence is set to join the club.
According to Greek website Sdna.Gr (via Sport Witness), Wolves have agreed a deal with the Greek giants to sign the Portuguese winger.
It’s said that the Wanderers could be on the verge of spending a big €28m (around £23.5m) on the 24-year-old, which would smash the record for a player sold by a Greek club, as per the report.
Is Daniel Podence a good signing for a reported €28m?
Yes, he looks quality
We could spend the money better
Not sure
So far this season, Podence has been in terrific form for his club and has even caught the eye of fellow Premier League side Arsenal, according to Greek outlet Sportime.
He has already got 27 matches behind his belt this season, helping contribute five goals as well as five assists, with one of his scores being against Champions League finalists Tottenham Hostpur.
Fan account @TalkingWolves tweeted about the reports, to which many Wolves fans seemed particularly encouraged about, as you can read below…

Wolves have already added Leonarda Campana to bolster the squad for a tricky second-half of the season, however, it is assumed that another forward will come in, even with this potential signature.
At the moment, Campana – who is yet to play domestically outside of Ecuador – would be the obvious replacement for Raul Jimenez if he was to get injured. With the pressure of the league and the Europa League on the club for the next few months, there is no doubt that Nuno will want a more established backup.
