Terry Connor may have the Wolves job until the end of the season, but will he get the job permanently?

To give himself any kind of chance of getting the job for next season he simply has to keep us in the Premier League.

If we head into next season still with our Premier League status intact, then Connor would probably put himself in pole position to get the job on a long-term basis.

Unlike Stuart Pearce with the England job, Connor does see himself as the longer-term successor to Mick McCarthy.

“If I`m ever going to do it, my time is now. I feel ready, positive and upbeat.” he told the Daily Star.
