Denes Rosa, so long the forgotten man of Molineux has been in the spotight this week. Both on, and off the pitch.

Following his subs appearance against Morecambe, manager Mick McCarthy was full of praise for the transfer listed Magyar, saying

‘If someone wanted to take Denes then of course we would look at it because he wants to play,’

‘He is a lovely fellow, trains hard and was involved in the Carling Cup game with Morecambe last week and did all right.

‘I’m just not so sure he fits into the way we play. I’m not being critical of him by saying that because he has got good qualities and I wouldn’t have a problem using him if we needed to.’

Talking to The Birmingham Mail, Rosa was characteristically honest in his own asessment of the situation saying :

‘I’ve got the chance to play some reserve games but I have to realise it’s very difficult for me here because the squad is so strong,’ Rosa told the Birmingham Mail.

‘I keep working and trying because I would like to play but the best hope of that is to go somewhere on loan.

‘Hopefully I can keep my form playing those reserve games and will get my chance.’

Last night , Rosa carried those words through to actions, setting up one goal and scoring a hat trick in Wolves 4-1 win against Oldham reserves, a fine display that won’t have gone unnoticed.

A bit of a pat on the back from McCarthy would seem to do wonders for a players confidence.
