According to TuttoJuve, Juventus ‘continues to be interested’ in Raul Jimenez and could make a move for the 29-year-old this summer. Jimenez is coming off the back of an outstanding campaign that has led to a host of clubs showing interest and his future at Molineux may be uncertain.
The Mexican international admitted having talks with his father about joining another top-six club in December and responded to talk about Manchester United and a potential release clause in April by saying Wolves wouldn’t sell him for less than what he was signed for.
Reports in May suggested Wolves were open to selling Jimenez amid Juventus’ interest too, so the signs point towards a potential move in the coming months. The 29-year-old has scored 39 goals and made 18 assists in 88 games for Wolves – he joined on loan in 2018 and turned the move permanent a year later.
After having a hand in 32 goals from 44 games this season, a number of sides are keen on Jimenez. Wolves would prefer to keep the centre-forward as he’ll be impossible to replace without paying a premium, but they may feel powerless if a multitude of European giants line up to sign him.
