Wolverhampton Wanderers enjoyed a 3-0 win over Everton on Sunday afternoon, ending their two-game losing run in the Premier League, and Pedro Neto was one of many players lauded by supporters for his performance. The 20-year-old was given a rare league start but vindicated the decision by making a brilliant assist for Leander Dendoncker. Fans were delighted with his contribution before he had to go off in the second half with injury.
Neto and Podence looking very creative, so much better than recent games #wwfc

Like a breath of fresh air Neto & Podence were in that first half, lots of pace & movement, good to see. #wwfc

Incredible difference with those changes today. Fight to get back in for the other lads.

Shame, that. Neto is gonna be a massive player for Wolves in the next few seasons. Hope its not a long-term absence. #WWFC

really impressed with the squad depth today, still need another through and through goal scorer but Podence and Neto have shown they are as good as Traore and Jota #WWFC #wolves

After seeing todays performance. I'm so impressed with the movement of Neto, Podence and Jiminez to create chances, that would be my starting front 3 in that system.
So much more fluid with those 3. Then have Jota an Traore to terrorise tired legs. #wwfc

Wolves need to use Podence and Neto regularly in final games rotating with Jota and Traore. Podence 2 starts, 2 solid performances. Neto been great in second half of season. Traore causing mayhem in final quarter. Could easily have been 5 or 6 today. #WOLEVE #wwfc #wolvesaywe 🐺

Nice to have Wolves back after a really lacklustre couple of performances.
Full credit to Nuno for his changes. Podence rightly gets the headlines but Dendoncker and Neto both impressed too. Spoilt for choice up front on Wednesday at Burnley.

Against Everton, Neto played for 55 minutes, had 43 touches, won one aerial duel, completed 90.9% of his 33 passes, created one chance which was an assist, whipped in five crosses with 40% finding a teammate, had 100% accuracy from his long balls, had two dribbles, won one free-kick and gave away one foul.
The 20-year-old joined Wolves from Lazio for £16.1m last summer and has gone on to make 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals with five assists. Neto has impressed in his debut season and has played in a lot of games, but he’s only started eight times in the Premier League.
Fans are excited by the youngster’s potential, but stiff competition from Adama Traore, Diogo Jota and Daniel Podence may cut down his minutes.
