HULL CITY have put in a £2.5million bid for AS Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune according to the Express & Star.

Fortune joined WBA on loan in January and helped them to their relegation from the Premier League last season (shame).

As part of that very successful loan spell, Albion have a previously agreed fee of £1.5million as part the initial loan spell with the French club.

With Tony Mowbray jumping ship (and who can blame him) to Celtic, the Scottish losers in the SPL are also likely to want to sign him.

While Wolves are also monitoring the situation for the 27-year-old who scored 5 goals in 17 games in the Premier League last season.

Vital Wolves Comment: With three other clubs interested, this looks likely to turn into a bidding war. Not worth the effort to be honest.
