Fan favourite Colin Cameron has left Wolves to go on loan to Millwall until the end of the season, effectively drawing a curtain on his Wanderers career.

In January, Glenn Hoddle told Cameron his chances to start would be restricted, and it was unlikely his contract would be renewed in the summer, and that if a suitable offer was tabled, he would be free to leave.

Several Championship clubs have shown interest, with Cameron opting to move to London.

The 33 year old Scot signed for Wolves from Hearts in August 2001 for £1.75 million, and quickly won many admirers for his all action battling style.

He has made 183 appearances for the club, scoring 24 times, 5 of them coming this season.

It’s never a good day when an old Wolf leaves the pack, and none more so than Colin Cameron.

Due to the circumstances it hasnt been possible for the fans to give him the send off they would have liked, which brings an even greater sadness to the move

Cheers for the good times Mickey, and always giving your all. You’ll be missed .

Vital Wolves would like to wish you all the best for the future.
