Whilst Wolves continue their search for a striker to fire them to promotion, the man all Wolves wish was still holding the number 9 shirt has offered his opinion on Glenn Hoddles chances of taking them to the promised land.

Bull made 561 appearances for the club, and scored a remarkable 306 goals in a career spanning 13 years. He represented England 13 times, scoring 4 goals before being forced ot hang up his boots at the age of 35 due to a knee injury.

‘Yeah, we’ve been a bit unlucky. They’ve got a good squad but they seem to have gone off the boil. Glenn Hoddle has got them playing OK.’ Bully said.

These days patience and football don’t usually go hand in hand, but as far as Bully is concerned, patience is exactly what Wolves fans need to give the former England coach.

‘I always think you should give people a chance. People say ‘he (Hoddle) can’t do this or that’ but I think he will.’ he said

With time getting on, Hoddle’s search for a striker is getting more and more urgent by the day. If only Glenn Hoddle could find a new Bully.

If only.
