Raul Jimenez has been speaking to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ press department following his signing from Benfica.

The 27-year-old striker has headed into the Molineux on a season-long loan spell from Portuguese side Benfica and although few know much about him really in Wolverhampton, his scoring record at first glance doesn’t appear to be great.
On statistics I can find, he’s played a total of 197 club games for America, Atletico Madrid and Benfica, with a return of 55 goals. When you look into his statistics though, his record greatly improves when goals are based on starting appearances and he very much seems to be a striker who thrives from a full 90 minutes rather than being expected to have an impact off the bench.
Plenty of fans would’ve gained the opportunity to see him in action for Mexico at the Russia World Cup and he started winning over fans in those showings based on his work ethic and the threat he provided around the penalty box.
All in there’s no reason not to be excited about his capture.
Due to Jimenez signing with the wolves my grandpa got his first stiffy in 25 years, he is running around the house yelling WOLVERHAMPTON WOLVERHAMPTON, TOP LADS, TOP LADS, all thanks to you @Wolves

If he's not on the bench he can be a great 9 for Wolves. Btw he's much better than Chicharito
