Lots of Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter after it has been announced that the Premier League season has been delayed once more.
It was originally announced that the league had been delayed until April 3, but with the coronavirus showing no signs of slowing down, the decision has been made to put it back to April 30.
Premier League bosses spoke together via conference call as they debated the best way to finish the 2019/20 season, and they decided that they needed to delay the planned restart of the season.
UEFA have already announced that Euro 2020 will be delayed until 2021, which means that leagues across Europe will get the opportunity to try and finish the season in the summer.
UEFA claim that the season needs to be completed by June 30 – just before players’ contracts come to an end at the end of the month.
Many fans responded to the news, with some being visibly upset as the wait for football to return continues.
Here are some of the replies…

Wolves have looked a little jaded the past few games, now they can have a well earned rest. They will come back refreshed for the remaining games. All the injured players will be back also, back at full power all systems go.

The EFL has also agreed to the increased delay, and with its clubs struggling with the final implications, they have announced that they will be offering £50m to help clubs during the pandemic.
While health is obviously more important than football, many Wolves fans will be devastated by the disruptions to the football league considering they were having one of their greatest seasons in decades. Champions League qualification and at least the final eight of the Europa League seemed genuine possibilities, but now it’s up in the air as to whether they will even be able to finish the campaign.
