According to the Mirror, Nuno Espirito Santo is in talks over extending his contract Wolves until 2023 and is ‘close to agreeing a new deal’. The 46-year-old’s existing deal was up at the end of next season and has was being linked with Manchester United and Arsenal in the past, but Nuno is clearly content to stay at Molineux for the foreseeable.

If it’s true & not just paper talk then I’m delighted to hear it. We can all question the occasional decision but you can’t deny the huge positive impact he has made on the club. He has a great rapport with players and fans alike. Nuno’s the special one 🐺👍

Wolves are currently sixth in the Premier League table with 55 points from 35 games, just one win away from catching fifth-placed Manchester United. And should Manchester City’s two-year ban from European competition be upheld, a top-five finish will be enough for Wolves to seal Champions League football next season.
Nuno joined Wolves after they’d finished 15th in the Championship under Paul Lambert (2016/17) and won the title in his first season (2017/18), picking up 99 points for his troubles. The Old Gold finished seventh in the Premier League and reached the FA Cup semi-finals (2018/19).
Wolves are on course to improve upon last season’s league finish and are in the last-16 of the Europa League. Jurgen Klopp should be Manager of the Year for winning the title with Liverpool and Chris Wilder may be second in the voting as Sheffield United are currently seventh, but Nuno deserves praise too.
The 46-year-old has kept Wolves consistent with a small squad and could be leading them to uncharted territories.
