With a number of friendlies already announced by Wolverhampton Wanderers as Nuno Espirito Santo gears up for life back in the Premier League in 2018/19, Wolves have now arranged to travel to Bochum to take part in the H-Hotels Cup.

We join Bundesliga 2 side VfL Bochum, top-tier Borussia Monchengladbach and La Liga outfit Real Betis for the four-team tournament and the competition will play itself out over one day at Vonovia Ruhrstadion.

The set up sees games last for 45 minutes and if tied at full time, they proceed to penalties. Two semi-finals start the competition, with a third-place play-off and Final to follow. We are awaiting news of our semi-final opposition.

  • What happened to the whites v the colours, used to like those matches at the molecular when I was young.

      • Keep things at the molecular level chap, I spent that long trying to work out your first post – blanking your second – I think I might benefit from greater education even if it is only predictive spelling! 🙂
