With some frustration for Wolverhampton Wanderers fans following the weekend’s draw with Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium, there was reason to smile on Monday afternoon as the club took to social media to show a clip of our skipper, Conor Coady, in the tunnel prior to the game.
As is now more than usual in football, players are accompanied out onto the pitch by fan mascots, and different types of players have a different approach to the role. Coady’s approach, as per the video, received a massively positive response from the fans who took the time to post up their own comments after watching it.

Simple, but effective and would definitely further helped make the day and the experience for the youngster.
He is a great ambassador for the club….!

Fair play. Every club should have at least 1 of these guys in the dressing room. 👏👏

Although Coady seems to come in for unfair and occasional stick when results don’t quite go our way, few can question his commitment at the club and how much of an impact he’s had since arriving back in the summer of 2015, as his reported £2million fee has proven to be an absolute snip given the game time we’ve got from him.
