It was a good and busy weekend for Wolverhampton Wanderers fans as we took bragging rights over Aston Villa in Sunday’s Premier League clash, but one piece of news that shouldn’t fly under the radar was the fact that Conor Coady’s start in the game saw him rack up his 200th appearance for the club.
The former Liverpool Academy prospect made the switch to Wolves from Huddersfield for a reported £2million back in the summer of 2015, and the 26-year-old has gone from strength to strength in recent years and he’s excelled under the charge of head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and more than played his part in our more recent successes.
With 191 starting appearances under his belt, nine substitute showings take him to the 200 milestone and our skipper will soon be celebrating 200 starts in its own right.
Ahead of the game, the clubs’ social media team sent out their congratulations and fans were only too pleased to offer their thoughts.
