Plenty of Wolves fans have expressed their delight for forward Diogo Jota after he managed to grab his second and third goal of the Premier League season.
Wanderers faced Brighton on the south coast and were able to manage a draw against Graham Potter’s side despite falling behind in the game.
A gripping first half which saw four goals could not be replicated as both teams had to settle for a point. Despite more goals being conceded for the away side, their unbeaten run was still continued to now 11 games – a hugely impressive feat considering that there was no win for them in the first six games.
Will Nuno depart for Arsenal?
Yes
No
Jota put West Midlands side in front after some fantastic link-up play with Raul Jimenez, before the Seagulls scored two goals in quick succession to stun Nuno Espirito Santo’s team.
Thankfully for the supporters, the 23-year-old was able to show some more class as a sloppy pass was cleverly pounced on by Jonny Otto and fizzed into Jota who finished superbly.
After the game, many fans had some positive words to say about the player – as you can read below…
Final ball let us down at times. Need to be more clinical. Great to see Jota back to his best. Good side Brighton. Surprised me how direct they were. #WWFC #BHAFC

Jota never hides. Always fights for us. He’s only just turned 23. He’ll always do for me #wwfc pic.twitter.com/eWxg4s6JtV

Seen some clowns on here questioning Jota's place in the team. Get back in your box. #wwfc

How could you replace him, he brings so much more than goals, which will come, anyone who thinks he should be dropped knows little about football I’m afraid

WhoScored gave the Portuguese a juicy 8.1/10 rating – a score only matched by Adama Traore on the day, a player who is really finding his feet this season.
It’s not been the greatest of campaigns for him so far considering he has played in 14 and has just registered three goals and no assists, so let’s hope that this is the point that the youngster kicks on.
