Jeremie Aliadiere has spoken of his intention to help Wolves achieve this seasons ultimate goal.

Promotion back to the top-flight.

After unsuccessful loans to first Celtic, and then West Ham the young Frencman is eager to put those experiences behind him.

He also sheds light on the circumstances of the last-minute deal that brought him to Molineux.

‘I spoke to my agent a few weeks ago to see if I could leave West Ham but it looked like there wouldn’t be an option because I’d already moved twice,’ he revealed.

‘Then at the last minute I was told I could but it would have to be a Championship club?

Some Premiership players may have baulked at the thought of dropping down a division, but Aliadiere obviously holds Wolves in high regard.

‘When this came up, I thought coming to Wolves would be a good opportunity and I just want to try and play every week after having two bad experiences with West Ham and Celtic.? he added

The move gives the youngster a chance to kick-start his career as well as prove the doubters wrong who have questioned his abillity.

And a prolongued run in the first team can only be of benefit to both player and club alike.

‘I really need a club where I can play and enjoy my football because not playing has knocked my confidence a bit. My first aim is to play but there’s also the challenge of trying to help Wolves into the playoffs and that was a good second reason to come.’

And Wolves fans are glad that you did Jeremie.
