Earlier this evening Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed that duo Conor Coady and Matt Doherty had put pen to paper on new long term deals at the Molineux.
Having joined from Huddersfield Town back in the summer of 2015, club captain Coady has played every minute of our Premier League campaign this season having helped us to the Championship trophy and promotion and having been moved from midfield to centre-half by head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, he’s simply excelled.
We are delighted to announce that Conor Coady and Matt Doherty have both signed new contracts with the club until 2023!

Fellow defender Doherty also played a part in keeping a division high 24 clean sheets last season, and he also took his moment to shine with a number of key goals attacking down the flank. He’s also our longest serving player.
Both players have signed fresh deals keeping them with us until the summer of 2023.
Reacting to the news on social media as the club announced the deals, fans were rightly delighted to see the duo sign up for longer as we continue to look forward.
Great stuff, fully deserved.
