Having had a disappointing week following the defeat to Chelsea and Sporting Braga, Wolverhampton Wanderers were looking to draw a line under things as we travelled to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.

It was always going to be tough against Roy Hodgson’s Palace side, and the statistics from the game showed it was incredibly balanced – possession, shots and shots on target were perfectly matched by both teams, and ultimately we played out a 1-1 draw, with Diogo Jota scoring five minutes into stoppage time to salvage a deserved point.

Website Whoscored may have given Wilfried Zaha their star man award, but our players edged the ratings overall and Adama Traore again impressed to take Man of the Match with a rating of 7.90.

Completing the top five in their system were Jonny (7.86), goalkeeper Rui Patricio (7.18), Diogo Jota (7.14) and Raul Jimenez (7.12).

Willy Boly also received a seven plus score for his efforts on the day.
