On Wednesday, Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed that young midfielder Ben Stevenson has made a permanent switch out to League Two side Colchester United.

The 21-year-old hasn’t been with Wolves long as he joined from Coventry City only 12 months ago in the last January transfer window, and in that time as he continued his development he spent time out with Colchester and also spent the opening half of the 2018/19 campaign out with sister club FC Jumilla – making 15 appearances before returning at the start of the New Year.

He is in line to re-debut for his former loan club as they face Northampton Town this coming Saturday and no details have been given by the club when it comes to a potential transfer fee, or what kind of future clauses we may have insisted on.

Another youngster has also moved on as Aaron Collins has terminated his deal by mutual consent to enable him to find a new club more easily. He came in from Newport County back in 2016 but with a tough pathway to our first team now, hopefully he can also get himself going elsewhere.
