Wolverhampton Wanderers young attacker Rafa Mir is spending the season out on loan with Spanish side Las Palmas as the 21-year-old continues to develop his overall game.
Having joined the Wolves revolution back in the January window of 2018, making the switch from Valencia, the player was identified as very much one for the future but when senior chances came his way, he didn’t really shine for many fans in his FA Cup start and three substitute appearances across all competitions.
He has thrived out at Las Palmas though, making 18 starts and eight substitute showings in their league competition, scoring seven times and he’s even gained himself some regular Spanish Under 21 showings, with six appearances and five goals.
Speaking to outlet Cadena Ser recently, the youngster revealed that it was ultimately down to Wolves when it came to a decision about his future, but reacting to his loan spell on social media, plenty wanted to see him return and get a second shot under head coach Nuno Espirito Santo.
“I am calm because I have already told my agent what my idea is. I belong to Wolverhampton and I will have to talk to them to find the best solution for everyone, but right now I do not think about it. We will sit down when the season is over.”
Yes. I'd have given him a chance, over Bonatini, at the start of this season.

After looking at some of his goals for UD this season, I'd compare him to Jimenez in style, I could see him being a key striker one day and definitely a good impact player from the bench. Give him a chance.

Deserves a chance here. Think a loan in the championship would help to get used to English football
